A Night with Robert Capa

The Capa Center takes part on the Night of Museums. There will be a guided tour from 6pm and from 8 pm where you can see over 100 contemporary color prints by the famous photojournalist Robert Capa. Besides the exhibitions and the guided tours there will be film screenings at 7 pm and 9 pm.

Capa in Color exhibition presents Robert Capa’s color work for the first time in Europe at the Capa Center from 9 June. On the Night of Museums there will be a guided tour from 6pm and from 8 pm where you can see over 100 contemporary color prints by the famous photojournalist. Besides the exhibitions and the guided tours there will be film screenings at 7 pm and 9 pm.

Besides the Capa in Color exhibition, the visitors will also be presented with the images of Robert Capa’s best friend and editor, John G. Morris. These photographs had been taken at the time of the Normandy landings, and after that they were hiding in a drawer of his desk for seventy years.
