They bring stories from the future and the past, about family, love, health, truth and lies that are important and must be told. Untold stories are nothing. Stories must be told well so that they are not misunderstood. There is really no recipe for what is the right form. We like those stories that are not tailored to our taste, and when listening to them, we can feel that the storyteller is telling them for his own amusement, as if he wants to surprise himself with the punchline.

The graduates of the Photography programme are not afraid to strike personal chords in order to address social issues that are interesting to the wider public as well. Bianka Cenki creates an honest representation of the dynamics of an unusual family relationship. Bálint Gutay’s installation, inspired by personal experience, is based on the feelings of an individual exposed to the brutality of social media. Judit Spanyár introduces historical aspects for a more thorough understanding of her family relationships. András Tornóci offers insight behind the scenes of the Hungarian healthcare system during and following the COVID19 pandemic. András Turi examines how socialism era manipulations of history and high politics interfere with private memory as well.
