Capa in Color – extended until October 31!

More than 15 thousand spectators have already visited the exhibition Capa in Color, presented for the first time in Europe here in the Capa Center. Due to the success of the exhibition, the color photographs of Robert Capa will be on display until October 31, 2015. Thanks to the extension, the photography institution named after Robert Capa, located in the photo street of Budapest, will welcome its visitors on October 22, the birthday of the world-renowned Hungarian photographer, with his color images still exhibited.

Besides the Capa in Color exhibition appraised in the international press as well, the photos of Robert Capa’s friend and editor, John G. Morris, will also be on display until October 31, in the exhibition titled Somewhere in France – The Summer of ’44, which depicts Normandy in the summer of 1944, following the D-Day landings.

The exhibitions will be accompanied by exhibition guides and professional programs, the times of which can be found on the website (www.capacenter.hu) and facebook page (facebook.com/capakozpont) of the Capa Center.

Starting November 17, the audience of the Capa Center will be presented the latest individual exhibitions of three artists (Marcell Esterházy, Péter Forgács and Gábor Gerhes) in one joint show.
