Judy Weiser, Founder and Director of the PhotoTherapy Centre in Vancouver, Canada — and considered the world authority about the use of photo-based interventions (“PhotoTherapy Techniques”) to help people improve their lives — will talk about the “what, how, and why” of these techniques, and then explain their relevancy for the interactions evoked between photographers, the photos they take, and people’s responses to those pictures (especially when viewed in Galleries!)
Judy Weiser (R.Psych., A.T.R., Founder & Director of the PhotoTherapy Centre, in Vancouver Canada) is a Psychologist, Art Therapist, Consultant, Educator, Trainer, University Adjunct Faculty, International Lecturer, and Author — and one of the earliest pioneers of PhotoTherapy, Therapeutic Photography, Photo-Art-Therapy, VideoTherapy, and other related techniques. Founder and Director of the PhotoTherapy Centre in Vancouver, Canada, she is considered the world authority on the emotional significance of personal photographs.
